Privacy policy

Version 2.000 · 1 November 2026

This policy explains what personal data dudko.dev handles, why, who else receives it, how long it is kept, and what you can ask of us. It covers this website, donations and email you send us.

Accounts and the products you sign into — pdf2md, Vectorize and the others at auth.dudko.dev — have their own notice at auth.dudko.dev/privacy.

Who we are

dudko.dev is run by Siarhei Dudko, an individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia (I/E Siarhei Dudko), who decides how the data described here is used. In this policy "we" means him.

Write to [email protected] about anything on this page, including any request about your data. We have not appointed a data protection officer; that address reaches the person responsible.

Not available in Georgia

Our services are provided only to individuals and legal entities outside Georgia: those not resident in Georgia, for their activities outside it. We do not provide services to individuals or legal entities in Georgia. If you are one and have registered for or used any of our services, you must stop using them immediately; this has applied since 1 May 2026.

What we process, and why

When you visit the site. Cloudflare, which hosts it, receives your IP address, your browser's description and the address of the page you ask for, as any web server does. This is needed to send you the page and to protect the site from abuse; the basis is our legitimate interest in running a site that works and stays safe. We do not keep these records ourselves.

Analytics, only if you allow it. If you choose "Allow" in the notice at the bottom of the page, the site loads Google Analytics. It records the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser, an approximate location Google derives from your IP address, and a random identifier kept in a cookie. Until you choose "Allow", nothing is loaded from Google and no analytics cookie is set. The basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with "Analytics settings" at the foot of the page.

Donations. A donation is made through PayPal, which handles the payment under its own privacy policy. PayPal tells us your name, email address, the amount, the date and its transaction reference. We use them to account for the donation and to thank you; the basis is carrying out the transaction you asked for, and the bookkeeping that tax law requires of us.

When you write to us. We receive your email address, your name if you give it, the message and anything attached. We use them to answer you; the basis is handling the request you made.

You never have to give us personal data to read this site. If you choose not to allow analytics, nothing about the site changes for you.

Who else receives it

We use a small number of services to run the site and our correspondence. Each receives only what its job needs:

  • Cloudflare — hosts the site and routes email sent to dudko.dev addresses.
  • Google — Google Analytics, only if you allow it.
  • PayPal — takes donations.

We do not sell personal data, and nobody receives it for advertising.

Data sent outside Georgia

The services above are companies based in the United States, and they may process data there or in other countries where they operate. The United States is not on Georgia's list of countries with an adequate level of data protection (Order No. 007 of the Auditor General, 14 April 2026), which means the protection there may be weaker than in Georgia — for example, authorities there may have broader access to data.

  • For analytics, the notice that asks your permission says that data goes to Google in the United States, and your "Allow" is your consent to that transfer.
  • For the other services, we rely on the data-protection terms each provider has contractually committed to, including standard contractual clauses for international transfers.

How long we keep it

  • Analytics: at most 14 months, after which Google deletes it.
  • Donations: for as long as Georgian tax and accounting law requires us to keep the records.
  • Your emails to us: for as long as the conversation lasts and one year after, unless they are needed to settle a claim.

Your rights

You can ask us, free of charge:

  • whether we process data about you, for a copy of it, and where it came from;
  • to correct or complete it;
  • to stop processing it, or to erase or destroy it;
  • to block it while a question about it is being resolved;
  • for the data you gave us in a machine-readable form, or for it to be sent to someone else;
  • to withdraw a consent you gave — as easily as you gave it.

Write to [email protected]. We answer within 10 working days; if a request needs longer, we tell you within that time why, and take at most 10 working days more. We make no decisions about you by automated means.

If you think we have handled your data unlawfully, please tell us first — we would rather put it right. You also have the right to complain to the State Audit Office of Georgia, which supervises data protection in Georgia, or to go to court; if you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your own data protection authority.

Children

This site is not aimed at children. If you are under 16, please do not allow analytics or send us personal data without a parent's or guardian's consent.

Security

We keep personal data only where the services above protect it with access controls and encryption, and we limit who can reach it. If a breach of security puts your rights at risk, we will tell the State Audit Office of Georgia within 72 hours of learning of it, and tell you without undue delay.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the version and date below change with it. If a change affects what we do with data you have already given us — a new purpose, or a new kind of recipient — we will say so on this site before it applies, and ask for your consent again where the change needs it. Continuing to use the site is never taken as agreement to a new version.
